Brickini Imperfections

Overview

Brickini

Brickini Imperfections is using intrinsic attributes from packed/instanced geometry to slightly offset/rotate them and modify the Cd attribute to replicate yellowing which happens to older bricks exposed to the sun.

Parameters

  • Imperfect Alignment Enable imperfect alignment

  • Imperfect Rotation Applies subtle random rotation to each instance. Rotation in Y is lower by default as bricks are naturally more restricted in this axis.

  • Imperfect Position Applies subtle random offset to each instance. Offset in Y is higher, as it's naturally more restricted in other axis.

  • Yellowing Enables yellowing. A natural phenomenon that occurs when bricks are exposed to sun light for a long time.

  • Yellowing Amount Strength of yellowing effect.

Info

Different colors are prone to yellowing to a different extent. Brickini Imperfections has some logic to account for that. The slider value exposed in the interface gets divided internally for a better user experience.

  • default yellowing: divided by 20
  • black yellowing: divided by 60
  • blue and white yellowing: divided by 2
  • old grey and old dark grey yellowing: divided by 4
